4900+ square foot log home in Recreational Activities Abound: Explore the hiking trails on and around Beech Mountain, go trout fishing .9 mile from our home, try paddle boating, indoor or outdoor tennis, paddle ball or other activities available at the town of Beech Mountain recreational center. Or, explore the many fun activities available in the nearby area.

1.9 mi TO SKIING Home's exterior is fieldstone and cedar shake. The Lodge's interior, which is almost exclusively wood, creates rustic atmosphere with modern conveniences. Wood beamed ceilings throughout. Some of the walls are 16"-24" thick hand-hewn logs. Interior materials are recycled from 149 year-old grist mill located in Chatam, Virginia; the 141 year-old Reedy Fork Mill formerly outside Winston-Salem, NC; and, a barn of unknown age and origin.

Living room, dining room and kitchen floors are hardwood (area rug covers almost all of living room); ground floor bedrooms are LVT tiled. All other halls and bedrooms are carpeted with luxurious 62 oz carpeting over 8 oz pad; baths are ceramic tiled.

Large living room with over-sized woodburning fireplace (firewood provided). Dining room is 10' x 35' and seats 30 at one sitting. Kitchen has flat-surface stovetop, separate flat-surfaced, stove with self-cleaning oven, combination microwave/range hood and two GE refrigerators with icemaker. Wood deck is 18' x 18' with perimeter bench seating and over-sized commercial gas grill. Ten bedrooms contain 20 queen-size or full-size beds, three adult-size bunk beds as well as a queen-size and single size sofa beds.

TV room has 55” Toshiba flat screen Smart HGTV with various streaming services, high-speed broadband internet access, VCR/DVD player and surround sound system as well as a queen-size sleeper sofa, which may be used as eleventh bedroom. Third floor hallway has foyer with large window seat, sofa, and 48” Samsung flat screen HGTV with Apple TV, various streaming services and a PlayStation 4.

Parking for up to twelve vehicles. Pets permitted only upon express written permission by owners.
